Review: Wayne Goss 01 Foundation Brush

Do you guys think it’s time to hear about the Wayne Goss 01 brush? Because after using it exclusively since I got it, I think I’m ready to tell you about it!   Once again, I’m impressed by the build quality of this brush. The ferrule is seamless and made of very solid-feeling black metal. If you squeeze the top of it, it doesn’t bend or warp. I assume it’s painted/lacquered, but I don’t know that for sure. Review: Wayne Goss 04 Medium Pointed Eyeshadow Brush

I know I’ve been talking about the new Wayne Goss brushes an awful lot lately, and well, I’m not gonna stop quite yet. Review: MUFE Artisan #146 Brush

It’s not really a secret that I love new product launches, and I go crazy in particular for brushes. My experience so far with synthetic brushes is that they don’t really compare to natural hair though, so I was interested to find out how the new Make Up For Ever Artisan brush series performs. As much as I wanted to buy every single brush from the line to try out, that was waaaaaay out of the realm of financial possibilities so I settled for just one to start with. I ended up  ...

Acrylic Drawer Showdown – Amazon/eBay drawers vs Muji

Let’s talk about storage, shall we? For years my entire makeup & brush collection fit in a single makeup bag with room to spare. Then I decided it would be worthwhile to have more than one eyeshadow quad, and well, you can guess what happened after that. I quickly outgrew the makeup bag, and decided to set up an actual vanity with actual storage. I loved the look of the acrylic drawers that I’d seen on some youtube collection videos, so a-hunting I went. My first acrylic  ...
