April Empties

Well, once again it’s time to inspect the things I used up this month. And once again, it’s not a lot of things. I think I may have to start doing this as a quarterly thing, it would be so much more impressive that way.
Last month saw the demise of yet another candle – this one was a Melt by NEST candle in Midnight Mist, which is a nice floral fragrance. I found mine at TJ Maxx, but it looks like you can actually get them online at Target, too. I mainly bought it for the pretty jar since I wanted to turn it into a brush holder (as usual), but it filled the room really well.
I also finished off my Caudalie Lip Conditioner, which I bought waaaay back in… January, maybe? I like it, but it’s not my top favorite. Also, the cap doesn’t stay on very securely, so this one doesn’t leave the house. Probably won’t repurchase.
A repeat empty for this month is my Makeup Artist’s Choice Hyaluronic Acid Serum. This stuff is super-moisturizing, doesn’t feel sticky when I put it on, and it’s waaaaay less expensive than similar things I’ve tried from high end skincare brands.
My CoverGirl Clean Makeup Remover is one of those things that’s been hanging around my bathroom cabinet for ages and I thought I was never going to use it up! I feel pretty ‘meh’ about it. I mean, it works and all that, but it’s really liquidy, which is kind of a pain since I don’t like to use cottons on my eyes. It also leaves a little bit of an oily residue.
And the last one – my Armani Eyes To Kill mascara. I reviewed it not too long ago (here), but the short version is it made my lashes look nice, but I didn’t love the texture and it dried up sooner than I expected.
What things have you demolished recently?
