Rumor: Sephora Fall VIB Sale 2014

As usual, Sephora is sitting tight on their fall sale information but rumors are starting to pop up in the wild. Someone posted this screenshot on reddit, grabbed from the Canadian site (US and Canada sales generally run at the same time):

Now, the only French I know is what I’ve picked up from product names, so I went ahead and ran that first paragraph through Google translate for you (though most of the info is also in the English version of the fine print):

This has me wondering if we’ll be able to email it to more than one friend this year? I hope so! Someone on the Sephora forums also mentioned a notification about a Rouge event on the events page of The Gardens Mall:

None of this information is official from the company, of course, but everything lines up with the time frames and discounts from previous years. So the details as I see them-

Events/early access: Rouge kickoff event on November 5th, 7-9pm

This is probably as good a time as any to note that they usually send out a ‘customer appreciation’ coupon in early December, and you need to be signed up for their emails to get it. A ton of people on the Sephora forums seem to have problems with (not) getting their promotional emails, so now would probably be a good time to get that straightened out if you’re not receiving them. You can do that by going to the Email & Postal Mail section of your online account (on the left-hand side, near the bottom) and make sure your addresses & preferences are correct.
