Holiday Gift Guide: Luxe Edition

[afflink][prsample]

Was someone on your holiday list a very good girl this year? If you want to splash out on an extra-special gift this year, here are my picks that are sure to make anyone on your list feel like royalty.

Clive Christian Noble Collection

Clive Christian Noble Collection ($495)

Speaking of royalty – this Saks-exclusive fragrance set is based on notable periods in British history. The set is well-rounded, with a variety of floral based scents that each have a very distinct character. Not only are they complex and interesting, they’re quite concentrated and long-lived on the skin so a little goes a long way.

Jo Malone Luxury Candle

Jo Malone Luxury Candle ($470)

The colognes from the Jo Malone line are obsession-worth (as you know if you’ve seen my instagram recently), and the same goes for her home fragrances. The Luxury Candle from the lineup is the ultimate indulgence – 88oz of pure scented bliss with a 230-hour burn time. Of course, if you’re having trouble settling on just one fragrance, the Christmas Miniature Candle Collection ($100) is always an option too.

Chikuhodo Noel Vin Rouge Collection

Chikuhodo Noel Collection Vin Rouge ($340)

Japanese makeup brushes are arguably the best in the world, and Chikuhodo’s holiday collections are always a prime example. The brush heads are impeccable, and their handle designs are swoon-worthy. This year’s set is well-rounded, with face, lip and eye brushes, so it’s perfect for the collector or someone just getting their feet wet in the world of luxury brushes.

La Mer Transformation Collection

La Mer Transformation Collection ($315)

A little anecdote – I’ve gotten a few samples of the much-acclaimed (and notoriously pricey) Creme de la Mer, and for a long time I put off using them because I was afraid I’d fall in love. Well, I finally had to break into them or risk them expiring, and I was right. This stuff is amazing; it’s got a rich texture, absorbs quickly and has a light aquatic scent that isn’t overpowering in the least. The La Mer Tranformation Collection includes La Mer’s serum and eye cream as well as the moisturizer, so it’s perfect for anyone who could use a little pampering.

Christian Louboutin Nail Lacquer ($50)

The Christian Louboutin Beaute line has been introducing products slooooowly over the past few years, and the nail lacquer is a perfect example of well-considered perfection. The bottle is a small work of art in itself, and what’s inside lives up to expectations. This polish is easy to apply, long-wearing and comes in a stunning range of colors with something for everyone.
