Lust List: things I’m craving for October
As usual, I have a mile-long list of things that I want. Unfortunately I haven’t won the lottery yet (I have a feeling my chances would be better if I played), so here’s a small selection. Sale season is just around the corner though, so I may try to exercise a little bit of self-control in the meantime.
1. Laura Mercier Shimmer Effects Mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour Collection
I’ve swatched these a few times in Sephora, and a friend recently send me Rosegold as a gift. Now I need more. Plus, these are so tiny and adorable. Available at nordstrom.com
2. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
I’ve been a little bit on the fence about this one, because it turns out each color is about 1/3 of a full size powder. But I seriously love these powders and honestly it’s looking like it’ll take forever to hit pan on the ones I have. I’m considering it a good way to try out some additional colors for a decent price. Plus, Incandescent is limited edition. Available at sephora.com
3. EltaMD Intense Moisturizer
My skin is extra dry and flaky right now so I’ve been using Aquaphor as a barrier layer at night so seal that moisture in. It’s fine but I’ve heard rave reviews about EltaMD Intense, particularly that it’s less shiny and sticky. I’m a big fan of their UV Clear sunscreen, so I figure it’s worth a try, right? 4. Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara
Another thing that I’ve heard raves about. I don’t really need it, but Mascara Madness at Nordstrom is coming up in November (buy two get, get one free), so I’m just going to pretend I don’t have an entire drawer full of unopened minis. Available at nordstrom.com
5. Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Cream in Sancerre
I randomly tried this on in Sephora and I fell in love. It looks pretty amazing on me, if I do say so myself, and I’m loving matte finishes lately. I’m trying to hold off for the fall VIB sale though. Available at sephora.com

And I say GO for the EltaMD Moisturizer! I have it and use it on problem areas… it has worked WONDERS on my cuticles! They used to crack and get super dry and red during the cold weather, but now they look like I just went to the nail salon! Haha.
