Gift Guide: $25-$50

Ok, I finally got this bad boy pared down to a reasonable amount of items. The way it was at first, I might as well have just given you links to Nordstrom/Sephora and told you to go have fun! The things that made the cut are ones that I really love and would recommend, so most of these things have been mentioned before either in reviews or FOTD posts.

Burberry Blush ($42) – Definitely my favorite blush formula – pigmented, long-lasting and easy to use. I think Cameo or Rose would look good on just about everyone.

Guerlain Rouge G de Guerlain Lip Color ($49.50) – This is a really nice one when you want to feel fancy; the heavy silver compact looks amazing, and the formula is one of the best I’ve used.

Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color in High Beam White ($30) – High Beam White is another best-in-class product in my opinion; it’s the perfect subtle highlight shade for when you don’t want to add shimmer to your face.

Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick ($36) – I can’t recommend these enough – the formula and finish are perfection. There’s a good reason I have about a gazillion of them, and more on the way.

Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder ($44) – I’ve tried other contouring products, but I always come back to this one.

YSL Babydoll Mascara ($30) – Mascara is kind of a risky gift, in my opinion, since everyone has different preferences, but I enjoy this one enough that I think it needs to be on the gift radar.

Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow ($29) – Burberry has the most luxe eyeshadow singles I’ve had the pleasure to use and I think everyone should try it. I’ve done quite a few swatches, but if I had to pick a couple that are universally flattering, I’d have to go with Rosewood and Midnight Brown.

NARS Blush ($29) – Gorgeous, travel-friendly and they come in nice range of colors. Some shades are quite glittery though!

Chantecaille Lip Chic ($35) – This is perfect for someone who likes a sheer-ish, glossy, moisturizing lipstick that stays put.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder ($45) – You can read about my love affair with these here, here and here. I know a lot of people (including me) question whether they really need a finishing powder and take a while getting around to buying one – so it makes a perfect gift.
