Gift Guide: $50 & Up

Ok, one last beauty gift guide for all the true procrastinators out there (don’t worry, I’m right there with you – I’m still working on my holiday shopping). Lots of places can still get things delivered for the holidays, but deadlines are rapidly approaching! These are my favorite holiday splurges – so pretty, who cares if they’re a bit behind schedule?

Gift Guide: $50 & Up

Muji Acrylic Cases ($24.75-$27.95) – Ok, technically these don’t fall into the $50+ price range individually, but I highly suggest getting at least two; the 3 or 5-drawer sets are really sleek-looking, and the large 2-drawer sets should fit anything that’s too large for the slimmer drawers.

Hourglass No 28 Primer Serum ($65) – This is the perfect primer for the dry winter months. I actually use it even on days that I don’t wear makeup.

Hakuhodo J5543 ($60) – This brush is amazingly versatile – I’ve used it for blush, contour and even foundation. Bonus: it’s super-soft.

Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quad ($78) – One of the most luxurious eyeshadow formulas I’ve had the pleasure to use.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum ($50-$165) – I was on the fence about including a fragrance (because they’re so personal), but I think it’s a nice balance of fresh and sweet.

Burberry Complete Eye Palette ($59) – Nobody does subtle eyeshadow looks like Burberry, and their quads are a nice travel-friendly way to do a whole look.

Hakuhodo Misty Set ($184) – Some of Hakuhodo’s best brushes, in a slightly shorter-handled, more travel-friendly set. Yes, please.

Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ($60) – These are great for doing doing a whole look from one palette, and the glitter shades are gorgeous for the holidays.
