Birthday Beauty Gadget Giveaway
Would you believe it’s been almost a year since I started blogging? You probably would, since you presumably have some idea how a calendar works, but for me it feels like just a few weeks ago – or a couple months, tops. I’m not sure I really expected anyone to read it, except maybe a few friends and some of the folks I talk to a lot in forums. So I’ve been pleasantly surprised to see the number of people who stop by my little corner, and hugely excited to become part of a community of readers and bloggers who love makeup as much as I do. My goal from the start has been to show people how freakin’ fun this stuff is, so every time someone says a post was helpful it gives me a really warm & fuzzy feeling. I want to keep that up, so if you ever have requests or feedback/constructive criticism, be sure to let me know!
Naturally I want to say a big thank you to everyone who reads, so obviously that means it’s time for a giveaway! What to use as a prize though? There are so many things that I love and think everyone should try – too many to pick just one. I was about to use the incredibly scientific eenie meenie miny moe selection method when I had a lightbulb moment and decided to look at my stats and see what you guys are interested in. As it turns out, you folks are just as obsessed with beauty tools as I am, apparently. The most popular post ’round these parts by a huge margin is the comparison I did between the Shiseido and Shu Uemura lash curlers. So I guess someone might like to win a lash curler? The runner up was the announcement about the Wayne Goss brushes, which I know a lot of people were ecstatic about. So I’m going to try something new this time – here’s what the birthday giveaway will be:
A Wayne Goss 04 brush, which is my favorite out of the ones I picked up. Not the one pictured, obviously, because that’s mine and you can’t have it! But the new one I get for the lucky winner will be just as awesome.
A Travalo Classic purse atomizer (which was kindly provided by the company). I haven’t posted about this yet, but it’s been coming in ridiculously handy.
And finally – a lash curler. But I don’t want to give one away that isn’t the right shape, so instead I’ll have you pick from any of the ones I’ve reviewed so far. Check them out to decide which one would be the best fit for your eye shape, and let me know in the giveaway box which one you’d like to win. Here are the reviews:
There are tons of ways to enter, and you can also tweet about the giveaway daily to get more chances to win. This is open to US and international folks, so tell all your friends. I want everyone to have a chance to enter, so entries will be open through June 5, 2014 and I’ll pick a winner soon after that. Good luck, and thank you for being awesome!

Wow, thanks. I’ve been considering getting some WG brushes…I rounded down to just few of them, and right after I decided which, few days ago the eye set brushes were released individually XD. Anyway.
Two years ago I got my first eyelash curler, the Shu Uemura. I thought that, because of the price tab, it was THE perfect curler. This is how I learned the importance of getting a eyelash curler wrt your own eye shape lol.
