We ended up doing a pretty low-key New Year’s Eve this year. The idea of buying expensive drinks all night and then waiting an hour for a cab just wasn’t all that attractive, so instead we had some friends over to play card games and made homemade pizza (my husband is a master of pizza-making). That didn’t stop me from getting a glittered up though!
