It’s Wishlist Time! Sephora November Sale

I don’t usually do much for Black Friday – actually, I usually stock up like the apocalypse is coming and barricade myself indoors until it’s over – but this right here is my favorite shopping event of the entire year! I feel like they sent out the mailer reaaaallly early this year. Usually I don’t get the email until almost a whole day after the sale starts. Maybe Sephora’s finally figured out that we like to plan our shopping.

This mailer (obviously) is the one sent out to Rouge members. There’s usually a VIB/BI sale that starts a couple days later with 15% and 10% off, respectively. I haven’t gotten any details on that yet, but I’ll update this post when the info starts rolling in.

The admins on BeautyTalk did a quick post about the sale (which you can see here) and there are some pretty significant changes over previous years-

• If I’m reading this correctly, the sale this year is only for VIB and Rouge, no code for Beauty Insiders.
• This year there’s no share-with-a-friend code, as there has been in the past.
• Rouge and VIB will only be able to shop during their respective sale windows. In the past the Rouge sale has simply started earlier and continued during the VIB sale.
• There will be no special preview event in the US, based on feedback. I assume this is because there was a lot of kvetching about a lot of places not having events, and people not enjoying the ones they did have. Canadian Rouges will have events on 11/5 (details to be emailed out by Sephora soon).

As for the wishlist, I’m not even sure yet, I’m glad I have some time to think about it! YSL Blur Perfector is on the shortlist for sure, since I’m almost out of my sample and still loving it. I’m also still looking out for olive/green eyeshadow palettes – Sephora Collection Mild to Wild Khaki, YSL Couture Avant Garde and Lancome Jade Fever are all definite maybes.
