December Empties

I made it through a few more things this month – mostly skincare, but a little bit of makeup too.

December Empties

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream ($28/6oz) – Yup, I finished another one of these. This one didn’t last quite as long as usual because I may have spilled some by knocking it off the bathroom counter with the lid off. So try not to do that.

Makeup Artist’s Choice Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($26.95/1oz) – This has definitely helped out with my seriously dehydrated skin. It’s 95% hyaluronic acid, so it’s very, very hydrating. You have to put moisturizer over it though, or it can pull the moisture from your skin if the air is dry (which it typically is In the winter). I’ll most likely be repurchasing, but I have some other serum samples to try out first.

YSL Faux Cils Shocking Mascara ($30/.2oz) – This is another member of the endless parade of free mascara minis I’ve gotten from Sephora, and I like it quite a bit. It’s a more traditional style brush than YSL Babydoll, and it gives better length but not quite as much volume. The only problem: the fakey rose fragrance in it smells exactly like the nasal spray I use for my allergies. What an attractive association, huh?

Did you make it through any products this month? Leave a note in the comments and let us know if you loved it or used it up out of guilt!
