Spring Lust List

I’ve been trying to restrain my beauty purchases for the past month or so in order to save my pennies for an upcoming trip to Chicago (umm, hello, can we say Burberry and Tom Ford flagships?). Not a strict no-buy, but I’ve definitely worked up quite a list of things I’d like to try out – and that’s not even counting summer stuff that hasn’t been released yet! Here are some things I’ve been craving:

Shiseido Benefiance Eye Cream – When I first got my sample of this I didn’t really think it was something to get all excited about, but it’s been a life-saver during the dry winter months.

Givenchy Ombre Couture Cream Eyeshadow – Cream formulas are really growing on me so I’m really excited to check these out. I’m eyeing (harhar, get it?) Taupe Velours and Brun Cachemire.

Lily Aldridge for Velvet tops – I’m a little bit addicted to Velvet by Graham and Spencer. Their stuff is so cozy and soft, and I love the super-casual look of the Lily Aldridge collection.

Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Trench – I don’t really have a good brow/inner corner highlight shade, so I’m hoping this one will be light enough? It’s kind of weird, but I like to do whole eyeshadow looks with one brand, so I feel like this is a glaring omission in my collection.

Givenchy Antigona Satchel – This, I can only dream of (because it’s definitely not in the budget for this trip!). I saw it while looking for a structured black handbag, and I’d say this fits the bill perfectly, don’t you?

Burberry Nail Lacquer in Dark Trench – I ended up returning the first Burb nail polish I got (Mink) because I didn’t love the color, but the formula seemed incredibly nice.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused – I absolutely don’t need this, but I can’t help wanting it. I’m only missing two (this one and Luminous) so I’m tempted just to get them so I’ll have the complete set. Completionist, much?

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – I see people rave about this so much that I just really, really want to try it. We have a serious lack of Armani counters here, though, so I’ll be making a beeline for it in Chicago.

NARS Matte Multiple in Siam – The first one I got (Altai) didn’t work out color-wise, but this looks like a color I’d wear for cheeks and lips. Just need my Sephora to get these in so I can exchange….

Oh man, you’re not the only one eyeballing NARS’ Siam. So effing pretty! I’m waiting till I head to the US in a few weeks time to pick it up.

I can’t wait until my Sephora gets them in stock so I can swatch them all!

I desperately want Diffused from the ALPs as well, but I just can’t seem to make myself buy it. As a result, it’s going on my exchange wish list. I also have an Armani foundation on my list of “to buys”, but I’m going with Lasting since my skin is on the oilier side. And last, but not least, that sweater looks really comfy and wonderful; I love Lily Aldridge’s personal style!

Yup, I’m seriously lusting for just about everything in the Velvet x Lily Aldridge line. I actually have a tee from it that I got at a boutique (don’t see it online) and it’s just ridiculously comfortable.

OMG… the Antigona! You’re a woman after my own heart. I’m saving up for it (and I will be for a few more months, lol). I’m thinking the Medium in either black or black/brown… and I don’t know which leather treatment I like. Which do you like?
